The purpose of this 8-week Summer Preseason Training is to introduce higher level Goalkeeping training and fitness training to help your goalkeepers move to the next level in preparation of their 2021 Fall Season.
The intensity of the training for the high school age groups is meant to give goalkeepers a realistic training experience similar to what they would experience in a collegiate preseason.
This Year's Preseason Program Includes:
Elite Select (U15-U19)- INVITE ONLY or Current ECNL, Girl's Academy, MLS Next Academy GKS, (75-min Session)
Elite (U16 -U19)- Current RGA Elites, Elite Travel Players OR placed by RGA staff in grouping (90-min Session)
Advanced (U15 - U19)- GKs with less than 2 years experience, not currently on an Elite Travel team, and/or recreation player OR placed by RGA staff in grouping, (90-min Session)Jr Elites (U12 - U14)- Current RGA Jr Elites, ECNL, Girl's Academy, MLS Next Academy and Elite Travel Players, OR placed by RGA staff in grouping (90-min Session)
Jr's (U9 - U11) -GKs with less than 2 years experience and/or youth travel GK in U9-U11 age groups, OR placed by RGA staff in grouping (90-min Session)

> What is the Refund Policy?
No refunds or credits will be provided for those who miss sessions without illness, injury, or family illness.
> How are Goalkeepers Divided?
Goalkeepers are divided into groups based on skill, fitness, and age. See description above to determine which group you and your goalkeeper would be a best fit.
> What if there is an injury or illness?
If injury or family emergency's emerge balance will be credited for Group Training with a 3-month expiration date.
> What are the COVID guidelines?
We will be implementing strict COVID19 precautions. All players and parents will be required to wear masks on field. Players may remove their masks during play only. Social distancing of a minimum of 6ft is required of all. Hand sanitizing stations will be set-up at each field. All players will be required to complete a COVID Check-In and temperature check.
Join us for one of our biggest events of the year where goalkeepers from multiple states come together and go head to head showcasing their goalkeeper skillsets to help raise money for charity! This year will mark our 4th consecutive Keepers For Good-Keeper Wars Charity Event! 100% of ALL Registration Fees, Silent Auction, Pledges for Saves and Donation Funds Received go to our 2 charitable causes listed below!
We will have 3 groups: Elementary, Middle, and High School! Over $100-$200 in prizes for each 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each age group!
PLUS in attendance will be USWNT and NC Courage Professional Goalkeeper, Casey Murphy and Samantha Leshnak Murphy. Both Pros will be walking around encouraging and lending tips and advice to ALL goalkeepers during the tournament.
Our goalkeepers have chosen two great causes to raise money for! Our goal is to raise $6,500.00 to give to these great causes!
Charitable Cause 1: Help one of our local non-profits, Moments of Hope put 10 displaced families in a hotel for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Stay includes a gift certificate for food. ($2,112.50 Total)
Charitable Cause 2: Take the remaining $4,387.50 and purchase a $35-$40 Christmas gift for every child who has to spend Christmas in one of our local hospitals. Our goal is to reach all hospitals in Richmond, VA.

Players can expect to have a lot of fun! Your registration cost is helping raise money for a couple of amazing causes!
After check-in you will be directed to your field and to the bracket boards. Goalkeepers will be allowed to go on the field and warm-up for 30-minutes with fellow goalkeepers in their age groups.
Once games begin, GKs will stand sideline until it is their turn to play. Games will move quickly so it is strongly recommended that you stay at the field.
Over under the tents we will be hosting a Raffle, a Silent Auction and RGA Keeper Wars Tournament Merchandise for sale.
We will NOT have a food truck. We recommend bringing plenty of snacks and water.

Brackets
Tournament Brackets will be posted the morning of the tournament on the fence outside of each designated field. We have 3 regulation size fields with multiple Keeper Wars fields on each. (see map above) Each field is divided by age group.
If you have questions our Volunteers and Staff will be able to assist you.
All players need to be checked in no later than 9:55am. Games start PROMPTLY at 10:00 am.
Games are short and will be played quickly. All players will need to be present the entire duration of the event until elimination. If you miss your game you will forfeit.
If eliminated at any point of time during the tournament, we encourage you to stay for the 1:30pm-ish Collegiate & Group Stage Championship Keeper Wars Match and to encourage your fellow GKs at the Championship Match.
Check-InPlease arrive at Check-in by 9:30am. Please DO NOT arrive any earlier than that time. Check-in will be at the entrance of the field.
Check-in PROMPTLY CLOSES at 9:55am. If you're late and miss your game, you will automatically forefeit your match.
We will have TWO check-in lines. One for Elementary/Middle and one for High School.
Parents & Spectators
Parents, friends and family are welcome to come to the event and spectate. We ask you please stay on the spectator side ONLY. (see map above)
We recommend bringing a chair!
Parents and Spectators, we have a ZERO TOLERANCE for Negative Behavior and Abuse to other parents, goalkeepers, our staff or of your goalkeeper. This is a fun and positive charity tournament meant for the goalkeepers to have fun and help raise money to give back to the community.
Those who violate this policy will be asked to leave the tournament and they or their goalkeeper will be disqualified from the tournament.
Parents, siblings and spectators who are symptomatic or sick are asked not to come to the event.
Merchandise Sales, Raffle and Silent Auction:
RGA Shirts and Gear will be available for purchase from 10:00am-1:30pm. 10% of ALL Sales are being donated to our RGA Goalkeepers For Good-Christmas Fund that is being used to give-back this Christmas to our community. (Cash, Check and Credit Cards Accepted) (Sold at Admin and Merchandise Tent)
Raffle Sales: Raffle tickets will be available. (We have two raffles this year. $5.00 and $10.00) (A $0.50 surcharge will be applied per raffle ticket if using Credit). All raffle tickets will be sold at Admin Tent.
Silent Auction: We have Multiple Silent Auction items/basket available for bidding the day of the event. (Cash, Card, Check will be accepted from the winners.) Bidding sheets and info are located at the Admin/Silent Auction Tent.
Please note: If you win the silent auction payment is required at the end of the event or bidder before you wins.
